Cockroach Extermination in Brossard, the South Shore and Greater Montreal

Seeing a cockroach in broad daylight is rarely a good sign: they come out at night, so the ones you see are never alone. Cockroaches shrug off drugstore products and reproduce at a crazy pace. A professional treatment fixes the problem at the source.

Signs of a cockroach infestation

  • Insects at night in the kitchen or bathroom

Turn on the light at night: if things scatter toward the baseboards, you have your answer.

  • Droppings like ground coffee

Tiny black specks in cupboards, behind the fridge, along drawers.

  • A greasy, lingering smell

An established infestation gives off a distinctive oily odour, especially in closed spaces.

  • Egg cases

Small elongated brown capsules (oothecae) glued into cracks, behind appliances and under sinks.

How they get to your place

Cockroaches want three things: water, food and warmth. They arrive in cardboard boxes, grocery bags and used appliances, or travel between units through the plumbing. As with bed bugs, it's not about cleanliness: it's about access.

Our treatment process

  1. 1

    Inspection

We identify the species and the hot spots: kitchen, bathroom, behind appliances, around plumbing.

  2. 2

    Treatment plan

We explain the plan, the prep and the price. In a building, we also talk coordination with the landlord.

  3. 3

    Treatment

Bait gels and targeted treatments at hot spots and travel routes. The gels work in a chain: one cockroach contaminates the others.

  4. 4

    Follow-up

We come back to check the hot spots and reapply as needed, until activity hits zero.

  5. 5

    Guarantee

Written guarantee. If they come back during the covered period, so do we.

Why act fast

A single female can produce hundreds of descendants in a few months. Cockroaches contaminate surfaces and food, and their droppings aggravate allergies and asthma, especially in children. A small presence is treated quickly; an established infestation takes much more.

Cockroaches often share the walls with other unwelcome guests. Check our pages on bed bugs and mice and rats. Live in the area? See our exterminator in Brossard page.

Frequently asked questions

Does having cockroaches mean my home is dirty?

No. They're after water and warmth, and they arrive in boxes, used appliances or through building plumbing. Cleanliness helps starve them out, but any home can get them.

Why don't bug bombs work?

Aerosol foggers scatter cockroaches into the walls and neighbouring units without touching the eggs. The problem looks solved for two weeks, then comes back worse. Professional gels eliminate the whole colony.

How do I prepare my home before treatment?

The technician gives you a short list: clear under the sink, store food away, clean greasy surfaces. Nothing complicated, but it makes the treatment much more effective.

Does it work in an apartment building?

Yes, that's our bread and butter. The key is treating adjacent units at the same time when possible, otherwise cockroaches just circulate through the plumbing. We can coordinate with your landlord.

How long before I see results?

Activity drops sharply within days of the treatment. Allow two to four weeks for complete elimination, the time it takes the gels to work through the colony. The follow-up confirms the result.

For every cockroach you see, dozens are hiding in the walls.
